How in the world does one understand what to do with decorating a house. Can you make a house a home by decorating it? I wonder, so i am flipping through one of those book thingys that has to do with interior design and there are close to a billion options for bathroom lighting seriously okay maybe a billion is an exaggeration but still how many ways can you light your bathroom. how many different ways can u make sure people can see the toilet paper.

I really don't know when it comes to this whole festival and celebration of giving people stuff. Really, everywhere you go there are lists for gifts for her and lists for gifts for him as if you need a list to tell you what to get the people that matter. I mean the only reason why we would use this list if we are trying to get a gift for someone we don't really kknow what they want. So why r u getting them the gift because of obligation and expectation and so we have taking this whole thing and made it about expectations and obligations and credit cards.

why is it virtually impossible to lose ten pounds. For real, what is it about those last ten pounds that just let them stick and stick to every piece of your body. I really don't udnerstand. I want to tho' I want to understand why people have to use fat burners to get rid of 100s of pounds but can't walk off the last 10 or scream them off.

I have no idea what plasma mounts do or what they even look like. When i see the word plasma the first thing that comes to mind is the stuff in your blood but why would you want to mount it and so i think this has nothing to do with blood stuff but instead maybe a tv stand thingy. Technology killed the family. My brain at WORK

I really am tired. I am not really as tired of life as i am of living. Does that make sense? I want my brain to take a break for all the drama and fuss and trying to figure out what works and what doesn't work. I want it to soar and just chill like it was on one of those orlando vacations but instead it churns and churns works and works, i feel sooo very sorry for my brain.

Tooting my own horn

When it comes to shopping for electronics, i am the king. I mean i am the queen because i'm female but yeah i know where to look to get the best anything. Well not exactly anything but when it comes to computers, laptops, TV, camcorders and cameras please don't make a decision without talking to me. Some people look into refurbished laptop when new ones cost to much but you can actually get a new one for less than a refurbished one but yeah i'm starting to babble.

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a degree in Organization Development? When you look at Washington bureacacy and all the red tape involved, all one needs to do is watch CSPAN for five minutes to realize that there are a lot of people who are sorely in need of these skills. I haven't been to the gym in about 3 weeks and my body is really feeling it. It seems like about 3 months ago i feel off the wagon and now i only go when i have to which is never or when i have time which is also never. I am thinking of getting one of those machines. the machine that i really do have a love relationship is the ellipticals for real i used to go on these machines every chance i get because they don't require running which i hate and they work my whole body but now i am too lazy and so when i see them i just smile and remember the good ole days.

Connotations

What's the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word cleansing? How about biopsy. There are so many words that initially have negative connotations just because the first time we heard them they were associated with something bad and now we can't seem to shake that off. Personally, whenever i hear the word colon i cringed, i am very sure that my colon does something good in my body but the idea of a colon cleansing terrifies me. that is why writing this piece has been an ordeal because colonetix has the C word in it.

I must admit that having the first words that come out of your mouth be words of strife and not of love at 8:02 in the morning do not really reflect positively on your relationship with Christ. People are always looking for homes for rent and i must admit that the whole concept is a little bit confusing to me, why would you rent when you could own but are you really owning when you are still paying a tidy some each month and if you miss a payment you get foreclosed and then you credit is jacked so maybe it is better to rent until you can afford to own but then how do you determine if you will be able to own?

Which is wierd cuz normally i don't have a budget for clothes at all but today i have made up mind to find these shoes. so the search begins. What is the best weight loss supplement out on the market right now? SO yeah, as i was saying in the other post i need to be on top of all the things when it comes to my weight, i really don't want to end up gaining an extra 10 pounds i have to stay below 150 and hopefully take it back down to 140, hmmmm but the whole diet pill thingy i'm not sure, there are diet pill reviews sites but the question is can you really trust them and how do you know that they are not in league with the diet pill companies.

i went to this church and i was blown away by the intricate design and details. I normally don't pay attention to the color of carpet or anything like that. Some people get it from smoking, or second hand smoking, others get it from the food they eat or don't eat but who knew that you could get cancer from the room you live in. I need to buy a pair of shoes tomorrow. my watches

I have four watches and none of them are bourgie watches they are just regular watches that keep time. if someone were to ask mii about them i would say i have a square watch that has a very tiny delicate strap, it was a graduation present from a group of friends 5 years ago, i also have my oldest watch that dates back to 2002 which glows in the dark when you press a button, the next one is gold plated and shiny and doesn't always work it was given to mii by my sister mother in law two labor days ago in 2007 and the most recent one is courtesy of my kid sister's trip to new york china town in december of 2008. so yeah i don't have Audemars Piguet watch but mine have stories

I am trying to decide how to rate this website and so I spent a couple of minutes looking for my dream watch. I did not find it. What I did find was a bunch of overpriced designer watches, okay maybe there is no such thing as an overpriced designer watch because every designer watch is supposed to be expensive. So i guess I should be greatly there is one website that has a wide variety expensive watch.

Okay I have to admit that my first impression of the website was cluttered. Too much was going on on the main page, it would have been better if they just had a couple of main names and then break them up into a variety of groups. I have to admit that breaking it up according to prices on the main page was a good idea because I didn't have to spend time looking at watches I couldn't afford.

One more thing before I end this mini epilogue, I don't know what Suunto watches are and maybe that is why I wasn't awed by this website but for those who know how to appreciate watches and what to get designer watches at a price that might seem affordable to you but obscene to me visit this site and for those of you who like mii have no idea what a Suunto one is and are not really in love with the whole Rolex phenomenon go to wal mart.

I am spoilt and I am blessed. Seriously. I was watching the news today and they were talking about 27 diet drugs that the FDA is telling people not to use because they have chemicals in them and i sat there trying to remember the last time i used a pill for anything and i couldn't I haven't had a cold in like 5 months and before that i think my last cold was in January. so yeah i am blessed, cerebral palsy, multiple sceloris, diabeters, cancer, HIV, hepatitis and the list goes on. i am blessed cuz i have none of this, mercy no one in my family has any of this.

My sister has the luck of the non-Irish when it comes to flying she is either delayed or her luggage gets left behind or her flight is cancelled or her baggages gets lost and the list continues but for mii it is different. I don't, right now I am content to know nothing and do nothing about anything i am totally fine in just being here and doing nothing because for the last couple of weeks like about fifteen i have been consumed with various somethings that were actually nothing so the idea and the opportunity to do nothing and think about nothing is too wonderful to pass up

Technology

I am all teched out. If there was ever a problem with losing electricity forever and ever, I don't think I'd know what to do with myself. My techny-ness didn't used to be so bad until I started living with a guy that spends hours researching and latest electronic gizmo to get himself. Suddenly having him get all kinds of packages every week in the mail made me quite envious.

I'm not a sporadic techie...I could be but I pride myself on doing research. Usually when the specs boggle my mind I call on my darling lil sis...who knows the best specs for my personality and she does wonders filling in the blanks.

For instance, last week, I got my new laptop, a Gateway HDMI Gaming laptop, duo core. The specs are too beautiful to even rhapsodize about, but the laptop sells on the open market for $1200...I got it from craigslist for a steal of $700.

I have my Sony Cybershot 8mp camera, a new mp3 player (not an Ipod...thank God!) and still there are more things on my list.

The techie-ness doesn't stop with little purchases either...I just got a car a couple months ago..the new Mazda 6...2009 version. Yes, I'm very materialistic, I know. But I'm kinda going overboard because I've been poor, broke, vulnerable and disenfranchised for way too long. Now I have the blessings of being able to work for my money, and achieve my every technological desire.

I promise that in 2009, I'll have cured myself of this extravagent trait. I mean by then I should have my iPhone or Blackberry, and there is nothing more to get. I have the best equipment out there.

Christmas

Hey so yeah this is it. smile, take a picture. Lights and stars, christmas lighting to a whole new level. I really don't understand the way our next door neighbours expect anybody to not get blinded by their lights. I really wonder. i do.

Winter comes

I have no idea what the best fat burners are. I would like to think the safest way to go is by working your butt off on the treadmill but then popping pills is easier and less dirty and less stressful but then you could end up with cancer of the stomach lining in 25 years so hmmm. So yeah as autumn falls to winter and we start wearing sweaters and baggy clothing don't forget to visit the gym occasionally.

Foreclosed

Here is something that the neon lights and showgirls don't tell you, las vegas nv is one prayer away from bankruptcy. 46 percent of the houses are one payment away from foreclosure, can you even imagine that, if people lost their jobs half of the city would be kicked out. The whole idea of vegas is to have fun and enjoy the night but what happens when you wake up in the morning without a job or a home. so i guess this is a reality check to mii and those who mgiht be jealous of those in vegas.

All that glitters is about to be foreclosed.

A year and counting

This time last year i was misearable in california, i was crashing with my uncle and not a day wnet by that i did not consider screaming from the top of my fave. mountains. Now as i look back at the experience the Plum trees in the backyard, granola in the morning, driving on empty, dealing with kids, and grown up kids and tantrums i would like to say it was worth it but i can't. even after a year, i can't do that.

Promise of fun

About three years ago i was suckered in by the promise of fun to buy one of those vacation packages thingys and i did. That was three years ago, it was Disney vacations package and i still haven't been to florida yet. I am thinking and wondering to myself what is it exactly about the promise of fun and dreams that allows us to cast caution to the side and jump on these bandwagons

All the ceiling fans in my house are always on, it doesn't matter what the temperature is all the fans are on, we have this nigerian addiction where you have it constantly on because it is always hot and so yeah, i am wondering how much more money were lose because we always have the fan on. winter is almost upon us now will that decrease our electricity bill.

To wear or not to wear

My friend was on trying to find the right gift for her man and ended up deciding on going the watch route. Now i am one of those clueless people who can't tell the difference between a Rolex and a Patek Philippe. I judge my watches by how they fall on my wrist and the size of the band and if they glow in the dark. I have absolutely no idea what my man thinks about watching, maybe i should find out but then again he would know that i am up to something.

I was thinking about getting a bunch of new insurance quotes, just so i know what is out there. it seems like there are a lot of deals going on right now, car deals, mortgage deals, what else am i missing. i am expecting to get a portion of the 700 billion dollar bail out this is how i see it going down. the top people take about 100 billion dollars and then it trickles down and down until i get my own 2 dollars, and i have to be prepared to spend the 2 dollars which then puts mii at -9,998.00 dollars

I am sad, so I went to Firestone and then I found out that my car is screwed so now i have to go canvassing for auto parts to fix my car. My car is a prayer away from death, but then it is still alive so all is well. What else am I thinking about that I haven't thought about, hmmm I really don't know what to do, hmmmm I am trying to figure out which is the best way to go but the license issue. Hmmmm i don't know

In the future

I think i link modern furniture it is possible that the whole contemporary age might grow on mii and i would become an Ikea person with lamps and shapes that are boring, like squares and rectangles for my place.

I am thinking of getting contacts. Actually i want to go all the way and go down do the nearest Lasik center and get laser surgery done on my eyes. Okay maybe I don't want to do that, but then again maybe I should. I don't know the risks beside becoming blind for life that might dissuade mii. The ups and down of wearing glasses and having to clean the lense are getting to mii and frankly too stressful. My life needs to be easier.

i don't really know how to get rid of acne. I mean from time to time i try a product, like i think there was this time that i was a fan of clean and clear and for about 4 months i used it but it became routine and i never really knew if it did the job, then i went the Aveeno route and i can't beyond a shadow of a doubt tell you that one is better than the other because i never really do the before and after shot.

In walmart

do you realize that is it sometime cheaper to buy stuff for the house and use it for office furniture I am trying to find something to eat in walmart and the result of my labor was basically nothing, the more i looked the more frustrated i got so i switched aisles and ending up in the section that has to do with house supplies and i perused the area and then walked a bit more until i ended up at school and office suplies and let us just say that it is cheaper to go the housing route.

I was exercising in the gym and it seemed like she was trying to sell a different product that netrogena and i was just paused on the eclipptical machine and thought to myself WHAT is she up to????

Side effects

so yeah what is it about electronics that hold such appeal nowadays, I am babysitting some kids this week and the 18 month year old is fascinated by the computer and the five year old is determined how to teach mii to use the TV and DVD player. I mean what happen to the days of sandboxes and toys without batteries and stuffed animals. Is there a way to reverse it, or is this just one of the side effects of our "progress"

What do you buy a fifteen year old boy for a gift nowadays, I mean besides a xbox 360 , video games, playstation 3 or psp. what do you give them that isn't powered by battery or electricity. Is there anything that will catch their interest, I was reading this book that says with each new technological advance the devil smiles because we deften our ears a lil bit more to the voice of the Spirit.

When you think of how far we have come as a people (by people i mean the whole human kingdom versus the rest of the animals) how do you view our progress? As a female does it differ than how a man would view our accomplishments, for instance think about the whole Hillary and Obama issue does a white male get the same satisfaction if one of them ends up President, isn't that sort of a diss on the white male that we think women and minority are an accomplishment a step up over the last couple of years???

600th post

Yeah this is the 600 post on this blog, of course i have been the one doing all the work lately but who cares right. So i want to go to Alaska, for celebration of this milestone, i want to go to Alaska and see the animals and the icebergs and bears and mountains, of course it is already too late for this season so maybe i will have to wait till next year july but the question is do i need a passport?

Uniform

i am not entirely sure how the whole working for a hospital works. I mean a couple of months ago my sister was sick and i had to stay with here there at the hospital and i didn't have any clothes to wear so i took a pair of her scrubs (my sister is a nurse) and wore it and by the end of the week people were asking mii for directions because they thought I was a NURSE, so yeah the whole medical id needs to be upgraded because scrubs are a dollar a dozen.
