Exhaustion...

Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward. ~ Kurt Vonnegut

It's been a very, very long week and frankly I'm exhausted. Getting back into the swing of things is always harder than taking off for vacation in the first place...but I guess it's official, I'm back in the swing of things (only took me a whopping week!).

Trouble is, I tend to be in vacation mode when I get back, and just end up procrastinating alot of stuff that has piled up in the first place. I just unpacked my suitcases a few days ago, and finally got around to downloading vacation pix and sorting through the mail just yesterday.

Big thanks to my friend, the FABULOUS Claire, who took time out of her life to make my already hectic life less hectic. It is true what Aristotle said, "A true friend is one soul in two bodies." Happy Birthday to my dear friend Joycii, who turned 24 today. I'm so glad that you are in my life.

Ok, enough mushy stuff. Back to business. If you haven't already, visit www.baggagereclaim.com and let me know what you think. Rumor has it that it's a pretty great site, and we're getting lots of readers but little feedback. Feedback is always appreciated.

Dear Vixen...I visited the baggage reclaim site and it is great. But I wasn't quite sure how to go about leaving a message attributed to me, as it already says "guest." I guess comments are anonymous...unless where it says "title" you put your URL. But maybe this is where you out the title of post you are responding to, or your user name. I know this sounds "dense" of me, so maybe I will give it a whirl and let you know. I'm just wondering if this is a dilemma for the other reader/non-comment-ators also.

Sigh. Probably just me.

Ciao for now...

Teri

Okay...you hit the link button and put in your URL. Then it prompts you to put the name of your site. This then links to the bottom of your comment once posted. For the "Title" I put title of the article I was commenting on. This is not a link, so I still am not sure if this is correct. Looked fine afterward. If you want to check it out I commented on "Plastic Love" article. About Vibrators. But of course I would.

Title thing still throws me...maybe I should have pout my own title...PITA.

Ciao,

Teri

P.S. This is a lot of thinking for me on a Saturday. Time for cosmos.

Congrats on getting into grad school, Vixen. Yes, you'll probably be challenged -- it is grad school -- yet I'm confident you can handle it. Enjoy LLU; it's a bubble, no doubt, but bubbles can be useful from time to time! Best wishes.
