Planning

I don't have a plan, I just want to do the next good thing for me. ~ Steve Zahn
We can't plan life. All we can do is be available for it. ~ Lauryn Hill

I'm by nature such a huge planner. I plan my days, my weeks and my years. I have to know where I'm going so I can mentally map out how I'm going to drive. There is very little about me that unplanned. However, everything that I've planned in the last 3 years has turned out to be something totally different from my expectations.

I didn't even know I had such a wildly adventurous side until I moved to California to become me. That was unplanned, and meeting Norio was definitely random, however two years later I have this whole different life. It's been a whirlwind of changes and exhilarating yet challenging periods and yet through it all, I'm still here. I'm still standing. I'm still strong.

So, the next chapter of my life is not something that I can map out like when I did my five year plan or 10 year plan. All I know is that no matter what, everything is going to be alright and I'm going to end up right where I'm supposed to be.

Happy.

I gave up planning my life. My boss asked my my 5 year plan. I just looked at him. Then finally replied. I don't know what I'm eating for breakfast tomorrow... be realistic. What's your 5 year plan for ME? His response went something like... Uhhhhh....

I used to detail all my activities for the next day on a sheet of paper, before going to bed. That was until I realizd that nothing ever happens according to plan. I gave up last two years...
Its a waste of time really.
Let go and let God....simple...
